Current projects

1. Project BG05M2OP001-3.001-0028 "Early socialization through successful educational integration" (24.08.2016-31.12.2018), funded by the Operational Programme "Science and education for smart growth" 2014-2020, financed by the European Union through the European Structural and Investment Funds . The project is implemented by the Beneficiary - BRTIM Association in partnership with the Municipality of Ruse; Municipality of Vetovo; Kindergarten "Chervenata Shapchica", Ruse; Kindergarten "Ralitsa", Ruse; Kindergarten "Pinocchio", Ruse; Kindergarten "Rose" v. Novo Selo; Primary school "Nikola Obretenov", Ruse; Kindergarten "Happy Childhood", Vetovo; Kindergarten "Zvanche" v.  Smirnenski and Primary school "P.R.Slaveykov", v. Smirnenski.

2. Project BG05M9OP001-1.002-0033-C01 "Activation for employment" (04.05.2016-30.11.2018), funded by the Operational Programme "Human Resources Development" 2014-2020, financed by the European Union through the Youth Employment Initiative. The project is implemented by the Beneficiary - Association BRTMI in partnership with the IPPON EOOD.

3. Project "Integrated approach of Ruse Municipality for integration of Roma and other vulnerable groups in the territory of municipalities in Ruse Region" (2015-2019). The project is funded by the Bulgarian-Swiss program to support the social inclusion of Roma and other vulnerable groups and is supported by a grant from Switzerland trough the Swiss Contribution to the enlarged European Union. Association BRTMI is a partner of Ruse Municipality in the project and implements activities in  thematic priorities: education, health and cultural identity / empowerment.

1. Project BG05M9OP001-1.002-0068-C01 "Active in education and employment" (05.05.2016 years - 04.09.2017), funded by the Operational Programme "Human Resources Development" 2014-2020, financed by the European Union through The Youth Employment Initiative. Association BRTMI was a partner of Markam Fashion Industry - Beneficiary.

2. Project "New European Standards for the Implementation of Alternatives to Prison” (2015-2016). The project was implemented in partnership with Institute of Conflict Resolution under the Small Grant Scheme, Programme BG 15, Norway Grants  2009-2014. 3. Рroject "Building the capacity of the Association BRTMI" (2015), funded within the NGO Рrogram in Bulgaria under the European Economic Area Financial Mechanism 2009-2014. More about the project can be found here>>>

4. Project BG051PO001-7.0.07-0048-C0001 "Without borders in employment" (2013-2014). The project was implemented in partnership with Searchlighter Services Ltd., UK and Bulgarian Employment Agency under the  scheme "Without Boundaries-Component 1" phase 2,  priority axis 7 of the OP "Human Resources Development". 5. Project BG051PO001-4.1.05-0049 "Socialization through educational integration" (2012-2014). The project was implemented in partnership with four schools from district of Ruse under the scheme "Educational Integration of Children and Students from Ethnic Minorities", Priority Axis 4 of the Operational Programme "Human Resources Development". 6. Project BG051PO001-7.0.01-0003-C0001 "FromRoma(2012-2013) – Without Borders grant scheme of the Human Resources Development Operational Program. In partnership with the Municipality of Ruse and Association "Ketanes-2006", Giurgiu, Romania, BRTMI explored the Romanian experience in Roma integration on a local level. The project outcomes were the effective borrowing and implementation of good integration practices and the upgrading of the administrative capacity of the Municipality of Ruse staff in their work with representatives of the Roma community. 7.  Project  "Equal Access to Justice - an initiative to strengthen the judicial system through mediation" (2011-2012). The project aimed to identify marginalized groups in the Central Northern Region and to examine their barriers to access to justice through surveys, interviews, and an information campaign.

8. Project "Unity in Diversity(2010-2011). The aim of the project was to identify vulnerable persons within the marginalized communities in Ruse District. An information campaign was carried out in order to increase the awareness of those vulnerable individuals for their capacity to be competitive at the labor market. Through the project career days with employers from Ruse District were organized.

9. Romale Program (2009-2010). This was a career-oriented program aimed at developing analytical systems and products for the integration of the Roma community. The main objective of the program was to facilitate dialog between NGOs, state and municipal authorities, and the Roma community. The main priority of the program was to address negative stereotypes and attitudes towards Roma.
