"School for Parents" with a fresh start in the kindergartens - partners of BRTMI

It is extremely important for parents to be motivated and to support their children for early and active social inclusion  in an educational environment. Therefore, the main focus in the work of our experts (psychologist and social pedagogue) is the organization of individual and group sessions with parents in the kindergartens - partners of Association BRTMI under the project BG05M2OP001-3.001-0028 "Early Socialization through Successful Educational Integration", financed by the OP "Science and Education for Smart Growth".

Within the Project Activity 4 "Working with Parents", a variety of forms of support are offered to parents of children trained and educated in partner kindergartend - individual meetings, lectures on topical issues, counseling, group work "School for Parents". In the form of a mobile reception, on schedule experts visit kindergartens and their affiliates.  Meetings with parents are held on a monthly basis at "School for Parents". Parents are encouraged to actively participate in their children's activities in the ateliers and collaborative learning activities.

The implementation of the activity aims at changing the attitudes of parents towards education - its awareness as a factor for integration and development of skills necessary for the children to build them as individuals with equal chance for development in life.

During the last school year, 78 individual consultations of parents were provided, 45 of them by a psychologist. There were 34 group sessions "School for Parents". 168 parents were involved in the activity. With the start of the academic year 2017/2018, the implementation of the activity continues.
