On the occasion of the International Roma Day, on April 13, 2018, the annual "Stage Under the Sky" festival took place in Vetovo. Traditionally, children from Kinderarten "Shtastlivo detstvo", Vetovo joined the event with an interesting and attractive program, with lots of mood, songs and dances. The participation of the children in the festival is within the project BG05M2OP001-3.001-0028 "Early Socialization through Successful Educational Integration", funded by the Science and Education for Smart Growth Program 2014-2020. Beneficiary of the project is Association "Bulgarian-Romanian Trans-Border Mediation Institute", where Vetovo Municipality and Kinderarten "Shtastlivo detstvo", Vetovo are among the partners in the implementation of the project.

 

With their colorful outfits and a lot of mood, the children made their contribution to celebrating the feast and gathered the guests and audiences awards for artistic and diligent work. Once again, they showed tolerance and curiosity about foreign culture, traditions and customs and charged everyone with very positive emotions. The festival ended with many pictures of the kids who posed as true artists.

 

The participation of children from the Kinderarten "Shtastlivo detstvo", Vetovo is part of activity 5 "Encouraging the integration process through creativity, joint cognitive activities and expressions for preserving the cultural identity of children from different ethnic groups".
