The European Children's Rights Unit (University of Liverpool), in collaboration with the Department of Politics and International Relations (University of Southampton) and Eurochild (Brussels) organized a seminar on European Responses to Violence against Children, which was held on 28 May 2014 in Liverpool, UK. The seminar covered a range of themes that have been the subject of European-level initiatives, including sexual violence, corporal punishment, online violence and child protection systems across Europe.  Aleksandar Todorov from Association BRTMI attended the seminar.

This was the second in a series of seminars bringing together academics, representatives from civil society, local government, from the European institutions and practitioners from across Europe, to critically explore the nature, added value and impact of European efforts to address various aspects of children's rights. Speakers on the seminar were academics, keynote speakers from the EU institutions and the Council of Europe along with representatives from international child rights organizations and networks.

During the seminar, Aleksandar Todorov had the opportunity to present the activities of the Association BRTMI, and to establish useful contacts with organizations working in the social sphere and working with children.
