Association“Bulgarian-Romanian Trans-border Mediation Institute”  is a Beneficiary of the project BG05M9OP001-1.002-0033-C01 "Activation for employment", financed by the Operational Programme "Human Resources Development" 2014-2020 with the financial support of the Youth Employment Initiative and the European Social Fund. The project will be implemented in partnership with the Municipality of Vetovo between 04.05.2016 and 31.12.2017. The total sum of 355 737.39 BGN is 100% granted. 

The main goal of the project is identification, activation, motivation, training and inclusion in employment of economically and socially inactive up-to-29-year-old people who are not in education, employment or training (NEET).

Specific objectives:

• Promoting socially and economically active behavior for vocational training and inclusion in employment of young people.
• Development and application of innovative tools for activation and motivation of economically inactive young people aged 15 to 29, from vulnerable groups falling under NEET.

The project is aimed at identifying, activating and motivating of NEET for active social and economic behavior, with follow-up activities for inclusion in vocational training, continuous employment or return to education. The project provides an opportunity for economically inactive young people aged 15 to 29, to get included in the labor market after obtaining an NVQ certificate (Landscape gardener or Social assistant), at the site of a partnering employer, according to their needs for qualified workers; approbation of the system for identification and activation for inclusion in employment of inactive young people; attraction, selection and induction of young people with no work experience. The National policy for employment of young people in the context the National Plan for implementing the European Youth Guarantee requires young people to be activated, to be supported at starting work, inclusion in adult training or return to education. Many of the young people are unaware of the opportunities provided by institutions; they lack motivation to study and/or work. The specifics of that group of young people, and the fact that very often institutions do not have information about them, requires a new approach for identifying, activating and motivating them for employment and/or training.

Within the project, the following activities will be implemented:

1. Identifying and activating 75 youths for inclusion in the labor market.

2. Motivational training of 75 youths.

3. Professional qualification training of 15 youths.

4. Providing jobs for 45 persons from the target group in the Municipality of Vetovo.

5. Providing jobs for 15 persons from the target group in the Municipality of Vetovo.      

6. Information and publicity.

7. Organization and project management.
