On 28th and 29th of May 2015 in Bucharest, Romania was held the Fifth Edition of the Danube – Black Sea Social & Economic Innovation Forum". 

 

The organizers from  the National Association CLDR, Romania and EUROLINK-House of Europe prepared an interesting program with participation of relevant stakeholders, NGOs and decision-makers from Romania, Austria, Germany, Serbia and others. Association BRTMI was the only organization in Bulgaria, which was represented at the forum.

 

The first day of the event was devoted to  presentation of initiatives and projects financed in the previous program period on the Danube Strategy and other EU financial instruments. Best practices of cooperation between organizations and institutions in the Danube region were presented and were outlined the interests of participants in the forum to upcoming projects.

 

The day ended with Awarding ceremony for organizations nominated by the Committee of Selection for merit of effective regional cooperation, exchange of ideas, initiatives, projects and networks funded by EU funds in the Black Sea Basin and  Danube region.

 

Mr. Ivaylo Ivanov was awarded the prize "Black Sea-Danubian Social & Economic Innovator" for merit of the Association BRTMI for effective regional cooperation and successfully implemented social projects.

 

The forum continues today with Project market place and face-to-face negotiations of establishment of future partnerships for cooperation in the Danube region.
