On May 9, 2017, the team of trainers from Association BRTMI and the educational mediators appointed within the project of Ruse Municipality under the HEA Program participated in an experience sharing meeting at the 10th school in Giurgiu, Romania. With this visit we completed the 18-day practical training module from the initial training of school mediators.

During the exchange of experience, we had the opportunity to meet the school management and school mediator Cristina Tarus. Christina has 10 years of experience as a school mediator. She has presented the challenges she has encountered in working with children from vulnerable groups and their parents about their integration into an educational environment, about their cooperation with the school's pedagogical team, and the satisfaction they enjoy with the pupils' performance. Thanks to the comprehensive answers to the questions raised, our mediators have enriched the learning and have supplemented the knowledge gained during the training.

We cordially thank for the hospitality of our 10th school friends and for the excellent organization we have created during our visit! We hope soon to be able to return the gesture and organize a visit to Ruse.
