On the occasion of the International Volunteer Day, today in the European Language School "St. Constantine- Cyril the Philosopher" in Ruse meeting was held between representatives of the Association BRTMI and Student Council, in the presence of Mrs. Dobromira Nikolova- director of the school.

The students were introduced with the idea of being a volunteer, the work of Association BRTMI and the opportunities that young people have to help society through volunteer work.

The International Volunteer Day was established in 1985 on the initiative of the United Nations. On this day the global organization invites governments and NGOs in all countries to express respect and gratitude to the volunteers and to give greater publicity to their activities.

Volunteering isa very special activity. On the one hand, people are dedicated to a good cause- to make the lives of others more beautiful, better and more successful. On the other- they learn of selflessness and to give without asking what will receive in return. And what actually priceless is- personal development and satisfaction, deep gratitude and many new friends.
