From 18th to 20th January, 2016, the first of the three-module instruction of trainers under the project "The new European standards for the implementation of alternatives to prison" was held in Voneshta Voda Resort.
The instruction, consisting of three modules, aims to prepare trainers among officers working in the probation system who will be able to systematically elaborate the capacity of their colleagues.
The training was attended by 10 probation officers appointed by the Directorate General "Execution of Punishments". During this first module, the trainees were familiarized with the methodology for conducting training sessions applying a variety of interactive activities. Next, the trainees practiced there presentation skills through role play. Also, a methodological manual for trainers was presented. Lastly, the main functions and roles of the trainer of adults, as well as their indispensable qualities and skills were clarified.
The first of the five educational films, produced under the project, was promoted.
